Howth is part of the Dublin Bay UNESCO Biosphere and our mission is to share this beauty, leave no trace and keep it a unique and glorious sustainable treasure where nature, people and culture can thrive. We invite you to explore its scenic cliff walks, discover vibrant local wildlife, support conservation efforts, and safeguard this coastal landscape for future generations.
Sharing The Beauty
Shane established Howth Adventures in 2016 to help protect the wilderness, biodiversity and culture of the beautiful Howth peninsula by sharing it with others on guided walking, hiking and electric bike tours. As an experienced sailor, former coastguard and earlier work in Dublin Port, Shane knew we had to be on the water to truly share the beauty of the Dublin Bay Biosphere. Ireland’s Eye Ferries became Howth Adventures sister company in 2022 and now offer Dublin’s best outdoor adventures on land and sea.

Protecting, preserving and enhancing the biodiversity, nature and beauty of Howth forever are our core values. Every guided experience supports local communities, encourages responsible travel, and invites visitors to discover Howth’s landscapes with care, curiosity, respect, and lasting appreciation together.
