Plan Your Visit

There are plenty of restaurants, cafés and unique shops to choose from, or enjoy fresh seafood at one of its popular pubs. There is a range of accommodation options, from cozy B&Bs to luxury stays. Howth is host to several annual festivals, making it a must-visit destination year-round.

Ireland’s Eye Ferries

Ireland’s Eye Ferries provide small group Howth boat tours which explore the waterline around the Island of Irelands Eye, getting up close to mesmerising wildlife. The island is a Nature Reserve, protected by the EU and UN Dublin Bay Biosphere. You will see large colonies of seals in the harbour waters. A spectacular natural feature is the huge rock called “the Stack” located at the northeastern corner, it hosts a large variety of seabirds.

Howth Adventures are really excited to launch a new purpose-built high speed enclosed passenger RIB in March 2027. Bespoke Sea Safaris, with fully enclosed cabin and outdoor viewing deck for exhilarating tours around the Dublin Bay Biosphere. Imagine luxury private sea transfers from Dublin and other villages along the Dublin Coastal Trail.
